Kennesaw State University Senior Session

Before the session, I sent a quick picture to my friend who use to walk from class to class with me. It was just an image of the courtyard and nothing more. A place that you visit so frequently and get to know so well, is one that you'll never forget- along with friends that you'll always remember. This session at mine and my friends alma mater was for a graduating senior at Kennesaw State University, Cortney Armstrong. On May 11th, she graduated from KSU with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Congratulations, Cortney!

Engagement Session in Atlanta at Piedmont Park

Last week, Justin and I met up with Barrette and Chase at Piedmont Park for their engagement session. We had to walk across the field to meet them at one of the Red Flags. Funny story about that… So, Justin and I are have could either walk along the sidewalk which would have taken forever or we could walk through the middle of the wide open field. If you are from Georgia, you know how much it rained last week. A LOT. Of course we decided to walk through the middle of the field. Everything was great until we got to the middle and realized that it was thick mud and we were slipping  and trying to get through without messing up too much of the grass. We eventually make it through. Once we get to the other side, we see a sign explaining what the red flag meant.. "Don't go on the field." Know we know ;)

We are really excited about having the opportunity to do Barrette and Chase's engagement and wedding pictures! It is clear that there is a lot of love and laughter in their relationship. <3

Adairsville High School Senior Portraits by Kristin Faye Photography

Cori Ray is a senior at Adairsville High School. Her senior session had been in the books for a while. I wanted her shoot to have a variety of looks including different locations and textures.

As the last half of her senior approaches, I know the thought of how much would change has been on her mind. Reminiscing on her year, I asked her what one of her favorite things about school was. One of her favorite things is the family that she gained through playing sports. I know how true this is. Through high school sports and college golf, I gained lifelong friends that feel like family!

After high school, Cori plans to go to college and major in business marketing. As a business owner, I believe she is choosing a perfect major. There is so much that you can do with that degree.

My personal note to Cori: I hope & pray that you find happiness in life. Life's journey may take you different paths than you have planned and if it does, it will be OK. Learn as much as you can, make a lot memories, and take time for your family. Time truly does go by so quickly. Document time and a lot of pictures! Congratulations on graduating! I know your family is so proud of you!! <3 Kristin
